Scott Harshbarger is a senior counsel at Proskauer Rose LLP in Boston. Mr. Harshbarger’s lengthy career in public service includes experience as a prosecutor, regulator and public advocate. He has served as national president and CEO of Common Cause, attorney general of Massachusetts, district attorney of Middlesex County, and president of the National Association of Attorneys General. During his tenure at Common Cause, an independent government and corporate watchdog group, Mr. Harshbarger helped advance passage of the landmark federal campaign finance reform legislation and launched Common Cause's corporate governance project. Mr. Harshbarger is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
