Christine Milliken is a member of the Government Oversight and Self-Regulation Work Group.

Christine Milliken was executive director and general counsel of the National Association of Attorneys General from 1986 to 2001. The association serves as a forum for states to learn from each other and to develop collaborative strategies to tackle issues from antitrust and consumer protection to environmental protection and Supreme Court advocacy. Ms. Milliken previously spent over a decade in higher education, specializing in finance, tax and legal matters. Her work included positions at Harvard University and the Consortium for Higher Education, and she was general counsel and vice president of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. A founding board member of Independent Sector, she currently chairs the scholarship committee and serves on the board of the Arlington Community Foundation, and is vice chair of the Arlington County Council of PTAs. Ms. Milliken holds a bachelor's degree in political science from George Washington University and a law degree from Catholic University of America.
